SHIELA AND I STAYED TO VISIT  WE WILL BE BACK ON THE ROAD SOON
I DID NOT KNOW LEANN WAS IN THUNDER BAY SHE SEEN ME WALKING DOWN THE STREET AS I WAS ON MY WAY OUT OF THE CITY 
GOD WAS  GOOD TO ME ONCE AGAIN

JULY 23
THUNDER BAY ONT
SHIELA and I will be here for 3 or 4 days to rest and prepare to continue our journey crossing northern ONT the towns are few and far between we will have to carry a lot of supplies I am not sure how much weight my trailer can carry  I hope to be across ONTARIO by the end of AUGUST  we have a lot of hills to climb and I am sure SHIELA and I CAN  deal with what ever comes our way

THE HWY in ONT has no paved shoulders on the hills the shoulder is crushed rock SHIELA can not walk up the hills I have to haul her up the hills my bike and trailer weigh over 300 lbs it was a real workout  getting up the hills ONTARIO has slowed me down just a bit

SHIELA has pretty little friends who stop along the roadside just to see her

SHIELA and I will be leaving IGNACE JULY 17 on our way to THUNDER BAY may take a week lots of hills  we walk lots I only travel until SHIELA gets tired

I LEFT  SWAN RIVER MB  15 YEARS AGO AND LOST TOUCH WITH A VERY CLOSE FRIEND TODAY MY FRIEND AND HER HUSBAND DROVE FROM WPG MB TO IGNACE JUST TO FIND ME THEY HAD SEEN  SHIELA AND ME ON FACEBOOK
DESERE IS SOMEONE I WANTED TO SEE BEFORE I LEAVE THIS WORLD I JUST DID NOT KNOW WHERE SHE WAS I GOT MY WISH GOD IS GOOD TO ME
I NOW KNOW WHERE TO FIND HER
I DO NOT HAVE WORDS TO SAY HOW HAPPY I FELL
TODAY MADE MY JOURNEY WORTHWHILE

SHIELA ALSO  GIVES PEOPLE AN OPPORTUNITY TO SHOW LOVE AND KINDNESS SHE GENERATES JOY AND HAPPINESS WHERE EVER SHE GOES

WE had a pleasant stay at VERMILION BAY had to battle flies and mosquitoes but no wood tick

SHIELA and I  are finally at the ONTARIO border had a tough time getting here from WPG we had to fight the wind mosquitoes and flies along with flat tires and broken spokes in my trailer wheels I was also suffering from a cold and a flu

I  WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE PEOPLE OF FALCON LAKE AND THE PEOPLE ALONG THE WAY FOR THEIR HELP AND SUPPORT

JULY 5th

WE are at FALCON LAKE
was a tough go to get here I was feeling wore out  I needed the bike to hold me up walked most of the way strong winds and the road shoulder east of WPG  is not paved most the way had a hard time to pull my trailer on the loose gravel
I have 20 inch bicycle  wheels on my trailer one  wheel has a bunch of broken spokes not sure if it will get to KENORA  I may have to make SHIELA walk for a while

SHIELA and I   on HWY 1 east of WPG 
I  picked up a cold and an old lung problem  feeling wore out and drained of all energy
also the wind was so bad I had to put the harness on SHIELA so she could help me pull the bike
